MadWorld Best Quality

It seems like this round of console's most family friendly unit, the Wii, is getting some of the most gruesome games period. 2007's Manhunt 2 was pretty macabre, and last year's No More Heroes had you spilling buckets of blood and guts, but Platinum Games' Madworld one ups pretty much every game out there in terms of its satisfyingly brutal bloodshed. It's not a flawless game, but MadWorld is a thoroughly entertaining romp that Wii owner who are not faint of heart should definitely check out.
The story in MadWorld follows a sick sort of gladiatorial game called Death Watch. You play as a newcomer to the games, Jack. The story is pretty ridiculous, and not very interesting, but where the game truly shines is its humor, especially from Death Watch's two announcers, who had me laughing out loud through most of the game.
The gameplay is fairly standard fare for a Wii action game. You'll use the A and B buttons to perform basic attacks on enemies, and use various objects in the environment in combination with motion controls to perform some more complicated, and brutal attacks. But the name of the game in MadWorld is combos. Sure dicing an enemy up with a single swipe of Jack's handy chainsaw arm can net you some quick points, but when you string basic moves with the environmental attacks, and then end with one of the game's ridiculous finishers, you start rolling in the points.
Jack will even take a break from on foot carnage to enjoy some motorcycle manslaughter. These sequences, while refreshing, aren't really very polished, and definitely could've used some touching up.
While some might fear repetition after a while, MadWorld's gory mini games found in each level will keep things fresh. Every activity from playing "Man Darts" to splatting guys against the moon by hitting them with a golf club is worryingly hilarious, and simply a lot of fun.
MadWorld's gameplay also benefits greatly from its numerous bosses and mini-bosses, who serve as a refreshing break from the standard grunts, and lead to some pretty intense fighting. Not to mention that the finishers you get to pull on them are downright badass.
Obviously one of the huge draws of MadWorld is its unique graphical design. Every thing is black and white except for the blood red...er...blood. It's not exactly easy on the eyes, but it's definitely cool that the developers were willing to do something so risky. Some will love it, some will hate it, but all can admit there's nothing else quite like it in the realm of video games.
The sound department is excellent, the game has great sound effects, and a pretty awesome score of original rap songs, not to mention the pure awesomeness that are the Death Watch announcers (played by renowned voice actors Greg Proops and John DiMaggio.)
MadWorld doesn't last very long, only 5-6 hours, but it's definitely the kind of game you'll want to come back to if just to relive some of the ridiculous boss fights. It's also worth noting the game has a multiplayer mode, in which you and a friend compete in the various mini games seen in the game's story mode, but it's really not all that great.
MadWorld looks and sounds like nothing you've ever played before. Unfortunately it plays like a lot of games you've played before. But that's not all bad. While it is short, and can get repetitive, ultimately the insane action and awesome production values make MadWorld a game that's definitely worth adding to the mature Wii owner's library.Get more detail about MadWorld.

Guitar Hero World Tour Buy Now

Where else can you jam to eye of the tiger, and battle ted nugent? No place else, but Guitar Hero World Tour. I'm really not into having a 'Career' in the game or playing 'gigs' of songs i've never heard so there are a lot of features that don't interest me... but this game is fun for all levels and types of people. It seemed like i had to play a few gigs to unlock the beauty that is 'La Bamba' so that was a pain, but i'm now fluent in latin-rock so not entirely bad.
The only downside is the incompatibility between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but that is an overall franchise issue for the Wii, and not a knock on this game.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 Decide Now

What can i say its another svr game it has its good and bad about it sometimes the bad outweigh the good but its still a fun game to play with friends and if you dont have friends to play with then the game can get boring fast because the online players are horrible because there all Clones with the same moves Gore and Spike Head butt and other specials for regular moves. The Sd games were at there best when it was exclusive to PS and if Yukes and THQ would just build off HCTP and other awesome titles they did before the svr and multi platform stuff started we would have a pretty awesome game by now and probably years before also testing the games for bugs and glitches before release would be great and if they dont have time which is ridiculous then they should run a patch on the things that they didn't catch. All in all what im saying is the svr games are good that's about it single player is cool but there are limitations and online without friends is no fun so if i were you i would rent this and next years.Get more detail about WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010.

Discount BioShock

Bioshock is a FANTASTIC game. I would give this game four and a half stars if I could, but I definitely don't feel like it deserves a full five stars. The first 95% of it is about as enjoyable as video games can get, and I could not put my controller down for two straight days until I finished it. I know this game has been out for quite some time and there are many other well written reviews about it, but I thought I'd take a moment to point out its many strong points, and it's very few weak spots.
First of all, the premise to this game is such an original and fresh idea that it's impossible to not get sucked into its unique world. I love the idea of a city existing under the sea, and the art direction to the levels in the game are beautiful to look at. I found myself stopping in the middle of gameplay to just check out the surroundings. The level of detail in the graphics is painstaking and beautiful to behold. Another hugely entertaining touch is the music. How often do you get to run around in a nightmarish world with "Danny Boy" playing in the background? Bioshock avoids a lot of horror game cliches by leaving out the cornball fright music and using authentic 30's, 40's and 50's music. It's a very odd juxtaposition that keeps you on your toes, and it really adds to the depth of the game. Another cool aspect of Bioshock is that I never felt strapped for ammo or weapons. One of my pet peeves about games is leaving you without ammo or supplies that are necessary to move forward. It's more of an annoyance to go searching for stuff that should be made available in the first place. There is tons of stuff to search through, and I always felt that I was collecting something worth while whenever I searched through a barrel, corpse, safe, or whatever. Another thing I particularly enjoyed was the voice acting. It isn't out of this world, but the little audio diaries you collect throughout the game really draw you into the levels you're roaming in, and hearing these broken people and their isolated voices talking about the city of Rapture makes the game that much more tense. The idea of Big Daddy and the Little Sisters is great as well. It's such an original idea, and it never got boring fighting the Big Daddies and then rescuing the little girls.
The length of the game was decent, I'd say I put between 10 and 15 hours of gameplay into it. Load times weren't excessive, and the game allows you to save anywhere which is always a bonus.
I have one very minor and one major quibble about the game, and I hope they fix them for Bioshock 2. The minor quibble I have concerns some of the battle scenes. There are several points during the game where they send four or five "slashers" after you, and deciphering what is going on can be difficult. I don't mind being disoriented in a video game, after all, this is a horror title, but there were times it was more annoying than challenging. I would get stuck in tight spaces and I'd have the slashers on all sides before I had a clue what was happening.
My bigger complaint, though, concerns the ending. The ending to this game was terrible! The final boss battle was incredibly short and easy, and then the game just ends with hardly any fanfare or closure. It's frustrating because the developers did such a great job of writing during the entire length of the game, and then at the end they just seem to give up. Take my word for it, once you get to the final boss scene don't even bother fighting him. It isn't worth your time, so you should just consider getting to the final boss as enough of an ending. There needs to be a payoff for your efforts, and I feel that far too many video games don't put any thought into the ending of games, and Bioshock is no different. They don't even leave anything open-ended in case they wanted you to think there would be another game. Of course, we all know that Bioshock 2 is almost here, but still, they need to take the time to come up with a satisfactory conclusion to the story.
All in all, I couldn't stop playing this game. It's definitely one of the 25 best games I've ever played, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to any gamer out there!Get more detail about BioShock.

Cheapest Halo Wars

This game is a real time strategy. Which has been tried time, and time again with lack of success on consoles. Halo wars changes that. They controls work perfect for the Xbox 360 controller. There is a "Select all on screen units" button, as well as a "Select all units" button. This makes it easier to command certain groups.
If you don't like Real time strategy games, this may not be for you.
But if you like the Halo universe, the story in this game is pretty good.

Buy Littlest Pet Shop Friends

Littlest Pet Shop Friends for the Wii was a huge hit in our house. My little party planner had a great time getting ready for the "party of the year" with her pet friends. This was one of those games I had to keep telling her she'd been playing too long. And, if you have kids you know that's a major indicator that the game was pretty cool. I like that it's a multi-player game that caused the kids to do some problem solving. There is a lot of reading (as mentioned in the other reviews), so be prepared to read if your child is younger than 2nd grade. Get more detail about Littlest Pet Shop Friends.
Purchase Rock Band 2

I bought this game in order to expand my musical horizons. I'm not a fan of modern rock music, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to expose myself to it more. I can't complain too much about the songs included on the game; they are all, for the most part, nice to play and not terrible to listen to. I was a little disappointed at how rough the interface seemed, especially in comparison to The Beatles: Rock Band. In particular, the notes seemed a little lower in definition. It doesn't hurt the game, but it's less aesthetic for my tastes. As far as customization, I really like how there are several options for your instrument. I generally play bass, so I was glad to see that their bass selection was more than ample to satisfy my desires. I haven't played online, but I imagine it's probably not too different from The Beatles: Rock Band in that if you know and like the songs it's a very enjoyable social experience. Other than the graphics being a little rough, I don't have any real complaints about this game.Get more detail about Rock Band 2.
Order Xbox 360 Live 1600 Points [Online Game Code]

I've frequently encountered times where I could not find any points cards in stores. I do not really like to buy the points directly on the Xbox Live Marketplace since they sell them in weird increments meaning usually there's some odd number of points left over. I bought three sets of points and only had a problem once. There was some error but it was all resolved in about half an hour. If you are looking to buy points online this is definitely the best option. Get more detail about Xbox 360 Live 1600 Points [Online Game Code].

Shop For Ear Force X1 Stereo Headset with Chat

These headphones are made well, comfortable, and have every feature you will want for online gaming - such as the ability to mute your mic and turning the game volume up and down separate from the gamers' voices. You can even turn the gamer chat all the way down so that you don't have to listen to that aspect of the game. It requires NO batteries, which is great, because it uses a USB port on the back of the Xbox. The only possible downer I have with it is that they are wired - but I knew that going in - and for the price and quality, definitely worth the hassle. Even though they are wired, it has an exceptional cord length that is more than enough for the average room. Overall, an excellent purchace decision!Get more detail about Ear Force X1 Stereo Headset with Chat.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass This instant

This game is my first ever Zelda video game. One thing good about it is action! At first, you don't have the sword (or any other weapon). One bad thing is bombs. Bombs are available in the beginning, but you need a bomb bag. Also, there's the phantoms. They're undefeatable, and they can take you out in one hit! Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition Best Quality

Again I'm given the difficult task of reviewing a game of mixed renown. In the case of Star Wars Unleashed it is safe to say it did well with its' fan base selling millions of copies but was received with lukewarm scrutiny by the critics. Because of this I did not know quite what to expect. Having just beat the game all I can say is it delivered the goods I expected and was in no way a disappointment. Like many other games that belong to the action platform genre it is a blast while playing but despite the fun you are having it ends too abruptly.
If there is a single crime Force Unleashed is guilty of it is that in some ways it is akin to playing God of War with a light saber. Finishing off bosses or large foes requires button mash mini games. Most are easy enough with the hardest one requiring the player to pull a Star Destroyer from the sky as Tie fighters attack mercilessly. As you swathe your way through storm troopers, rebels, aliens, and walkers you collect points from slain foes which eventually make you "level up" so you can improve force powers or buy brand new ones. There are many epic feats Star killer can do and luckily enough a few special attacks such as "lightning bomb" are brand new to the franchise.
Most surprising is the story line is top notch. Side characters such as the beautiful and resourceful Imperial pilot Eclipse and Proxy the friendly yet psychotic droid are oddly endearing. The voice acting is delivered wonderfully as you would expect from a Lucas arts title. In some ways the plot pulled me in just as much as the one in Knights of the old republic though Force Unleashed should not be mistaken for an rpg.
The only thing Force Unleashed can be faulted for is that you visit some worlds twice. Felucia and Kashyk come to mind immediately though I'm happy to say that the lay out drastically changes for each visit. The environments can be truly breathtaking and I was very impressed by the graphics as a whole.
In my whole time playing I can only think of one glitch. When I fought Vader the second time our life bars froze. Pretty much we were both invincible so I had to start my battle over with him upon resetting my 360. I was glad the same glitch did not happen twice. I should mention though the load times are slow the auto save points are put in good places so rest assured dying does not require you restart the whole level.
On account this is the Ultimate Sith edition you are also getting the Jedi temple, Tattoine, and Hoth levels. Two of these missions extend an alternate history in which Star Killer becomes the new Darth Vader. The Jedi Temple was exclusive to the ps2 version until now.
How worth while this game is depends on two factors. If you've already beaten Force Unleashed I'm hesitant to say if the 3 hours of extra content will be worth it for you. Secondly be forewarned this is a Star Wars game from the action plat former mold thus you can likely beat it in one or two nights if you have nothing better to do.
If however you want to know how The Rebellion got started and be put in the shoes of one of the most epic Jedi/Sith rear kickers of all time Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith edition is a steal at the present asking price!
Pros
+ A plot of romance, betrayal, redemption, and conspiracies delivered with flair and passion.
+ Beautiful breath-taking visuals
+Mostly fluid combat and varied ways of using Force powers
+Game does not penalize you for failing real time event button combinations on the lowest difficulty
+Some of the best voice acting I've heard in awhile
Cons
-It is difficult to lock onto what you want sometimes to target objects or foes with your Jedi abilities.
-The sound track is not bad per se but we've all heard these same tired musical scores thousands of times by now.
-The game is not completely absent of glitches.
-Can be beaten quickly
- If you've already beaten the original I cannot in good conscious suggest you trudge through the Ultimate edition for a measly 3 additional hours of play on the special disc that includes the bonus levels. Only the Hoth mission is exclusive. The others can be purchased on Xbox live as downloadable content.
Ending Thoughts: It is hard for me to describe exactly how I feel about Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition. Most complaints I could level at it would also have to be taken up with other games from the action genre. While it doesn't do anything new it does it very well.
Certain people will have a beef with Unleashed merely on account it uses the Star Wars license. Many reviewers are prone to attack a title if it some how connects with a movie or popular franchise. Force Unleashed shamefully draws both those cards.
Yet I never witnessed an instance this game lied about what it was. For those of us that wanted a game similar to Devil may cry or God of war with Jedi, Sith, and Storm trooper it is a dream come true. Had Unleashed been an rpg I would have complained about its' short span. However safe to say most of us know the appeal of this romp is throwing around hapless unfortunate souls with our minds right before we electrocute them with force lightning! On that raw visceral level Unleashed succeeds while offering a memorable tale to boot!

Fable II Get it now!

Ok first off ill start by saying i was a huge fan of the original fable and actually preordered fable 2...Big mistake. Ill tell you all a word of advice right now, never Ever listen to a word Peter Molyneux or anybody that comes out of Lionhead spews out because it is all just for hype and always ends in making you feel like an idiot for believing them.
Onto the review of the game, as far as an rpg goes it was Decent but nothing special. As far as a Fable sequel goes it is horrible, story wise its not Fable 2 but more of Fable 1.5 or even 1.25, compared to the firsts compelling story this plot goes nowhere and you can see the ending from a mile away. Not only that but Lionhead even struck the low blow of leaving critical story points (post ending-pre fable 3) in costly DLC.
Bottom line is i learned my leason and will never buy a Lionhead game again and id recommend you do the same.Get more detail about Fable II.

Resident Evil 5 Right now

Being a fan of the Resident Evil series, a four year wait for the newest installment really dried my patience out. Understandably costive time and care went into the process to include Resident Evil in the run of next generation games for xbox 360, and ps3. With that said, Resident Evil is a survival-horror game that features a completely cooperative campaign mode, and a secondary arcade mode `mercenaries'. Available, for a fee to download on whichever platform you wish to pick this game up on , is a versus multiplayer mode.
Resident Evil 5 follows closely to the overhauled gameplay the fourth game brought. The overhaul to many was a make or break deal, though many critics (including myself) have felt this to renew the series, and bring it into a different light. The change has a lot to do with movement, featuring a third person over the shoulder view. Alongside of that is the emphasis on collecting guns and upgrading them, no longer is it a struggle to maintain ammunition in case of a close encounter. This alone departs the game further from its supposed `survival horror' genre, nearing it to the action shooters like 2008's Army of Two.
The game takes place in Africa, where you'll be taking on the role of Chris Redfield (one of the main characters from the original title) who is now a member of an agency known as the BSAA. Well I should say initially you'll be taking on the role of Chris, as a new character to the series Sheva Alomar (another BSAA operative) is also available for both single player and co-op. Though the game has been out since last spring, I'm opting not to spoil any of the story, I will say a few characters from the original trilogy reprise there roles (whether it be through cinemas, or flashbacks there are indeed a few).
Graphically the game is up to par with many next gen titles, colors bloom and pop. For some odd reason a greenish hue hazes many of the darker colors in the game. The constant daylight doesn't add to the fear so much as the atmosphere. The locations are pretty interesting, mines, shanty towns, safari terrain etc. To be honest, I didn't really find any spot noteworthy in the game for horror. Sound wise effects are pretty standard, some gun shots will echo, explosions make use of a good subwoofer etc. Hearing the enemy before seeing them is always helpful, but a musical cue should be able to alert one of imposing doom. Voice acting is classic Resident Evil dialogue, pretentious and often times comical. I will say this one still has an in-depth plot, I will continue to say it's not a very good one though.
An armory of weapons are at your disposal; pistols, sub machine guns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, various grenades and of course a combat knife. Your inventory on the other hand has been scaled down, to emphasize cooperation with a partner they kept the game going in real time, so no more using the inventory screen as a secondary pause. To gain such riches one will have to keep an eye out for treasures they will glisten and are much easier to locate this time around. Each treasure is worth a different amount, and cannot be combined to create a more stunning unique item like in the previous game. Treasures can be a gemstone or objects similar to what you'd find at an archeological site.
Enemies will often use whatever may lay around depending on the location this could go from a intimidating pitchfork to a terrifying stick of dynamite. The enemy AI (artificial intelligence) isn't the greatest, but they know how to pose a threat. They will duck, climb, alert others of intrusion, anything to make your stay in there territory a nightmare. How you react and how to disperse ammo is up to you, a few different buildings to enter, and alternative routes add to replay value.
Ultimately the first run through on this game is the most memorable, your weaponry acquired through out the game is forwarded to your next run through, making things a bit easier (a harder `professional ` mode will also be available to bump your game up). This game makes for a great buy if your a completionist, the weapons all have stats capable of increasing, and a museum like bonus adds bonus unlockable figurines to view. The game makes use of chapters, so if you'd like to repeat a certain segment check the available chapters you have unlocked and have fun. Any cinema that has been viewed within campaign can now be viewed in the menus. Loading screens usually have blots of information of the Resident Evil timeline. The 'bosses' faced in the game are kind of a let down though a few are entertaining. Don't expect the boss battle variety of previous games, as a majority of them in this title all have something in common.
Horror is almost non existent, campaign has been greatly shortened from Resident Evil 4's mammoth duration. In terms of Resident Evil the game has taken a leap of faith in technological advancements, but unsatisfying fell short of expectations with nearly everything feeling more dulled down. So on it's own the game is (to me) a 4 out of 5, and is an obvious recommendation. On behalf of the other Resident Evil titles and how well it stacked against them though, I'd have to give 3 ½ out of 5. If I could make a quick recommendation here, it would be to simply rent this game and play through it with a friend. If you enjoy it and/but want more horror try out Dead Space another good rental. I'll give it a shot. There have been several new posts in Nov. and Dec confirming how it works on RB2. Hopefully I won't be dissappointed ... amazon reviewers have always steered me right. If anyone has this and used it with RB2 I would love another thumbs up. I'll definitely post my outcome when I receive it...I'll be testing it before x-mas. Not that I can do much about it then, but I least I can prep them for the outcome.Get more detail about Wii Shred Ax Guitar - Mahogany.

Save Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII

We just recently purchased our wII. I am not a gamer and wanted something that would be a challenge and fun to play. Blazing Angels fits that bill. I understand that it doesn't have the latest graphics but it just fine for having FUN.Get more detail about Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII.
Discount Rock Band: Country Track Pack

We've had Rock Band 2 for over a year now and while I've played the occasional game, I never really got into it as much as the rest of the family.
That all changed when the Country version came out - This one is great and a lot of fun. Country music fans will surely not be disappointed. There are some familiar favorites on there as well as some new ones that I've never heard before, and I considered myself a big fan of the genre. They all had a great beat, and as a Rock Band novice, I really appreciated the tutoring offered and the way you can progress in the game.
Like other Rock Bands, there are four levels. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. I could maneuver through all 21 songs on both Easy and Medium, but there seems to be a big jump from Medium to Hard. I kind of lost interest because I have the handicap of not having the reflexes of my 15-year-old daughter and not having the sixth finger needed to properly play with all five buttons.
I gave it five stars with a couple of reservations - The game was a little off and it was hard to calibrate using the provided calibration tool. We eventually got it to work, but even my 15-year-old who works her way through expert says that the notes still seem to be a little off. Admittedly that could be the guitar that has gotten quite a bit of use.
Other than that this is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we thought we were paying for. If you even remotely like the Rock Band concept and you like country music, you should be able to be entertained with this Track Pack. I'm just a bit disappointed it didn't come with a banjo - that would have been fun.

Cheap NASCAR Kart Racing

This game was disappointing to say the least, I bought it when it first came out so it was full price. The graphics aren't that great and the race tracks are pretty much all the same. The voices on the game are strange, I am not sure if the drivers who endorsed this ever actually played this game or even checked it out. It almost seems like they are making fun of Nascar racing, which could make some fans unhappy. Although it was quite comical at first it now sits collecting dust.... do not pay more then fifteen dollars for this game!!Get more detail about NASCAR Kart Racing.
Buying Wii Turbo Wheel Twin Pack - 1094

Absolutely love these! Husband and son spend many hours driving on Wii and love the cushy grips and the way the remote plugs in is good, too. Would definitely buys these again!Get more detail about Wii Turbo Wheel Twin Pack - 1094.
Buy Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Playing through all 6 Star Wars episodes was actually pretty fun. After you figure out how to 'do stuff' (give it a couple levels - I was frustrated at first), the game is low stress and easy to play.
If you enjoy being thorough, 'collecting' things, or just completing a game 100%, going back through the levels in 'Free Play' mode is definitely worth-while. You can get to some new areas (now that you have more characters at your disposal), and can just enjoy goofing around more.
The game is family friendly, has a two-player mode, and is just generally good clean fun.
I've also played Lego Indiana Jones, and, while I enjoyed it as well, Star Wars is the better game. I'd pick it up first unless you're just not a Star Wars fan.Get more detail about Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

Purchase Xbox 360 Text Messaging Kit

I was skeptical of if I even needed this at all and actually purchased it one time but returned it. I ended up purchasing it a few months later after I had used my friends. It is probably one of the best addons to any console system I have used aside from being a full size keyboard. If you do a lot of online gaming or chatting and have the extra cash to get this accessory, I would highly recommend it. It cuts down the time from 2-3 minutes to 10 seconds with typing in your sign on id and password to recover your gamer tag.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Text Messaging Kit.

Where To Buy Universal Microphone Stand

I bought this to complement my purchase of Beatles Rock Band - since you will often encounter playing instrument/singing and more than one person at a time!
The great part about the stand is the clip for the controller - since you need that controller close-by for microphone use. Simple, but brilliant.Get more detail about Universal Microphone Stand.

Shop For EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis

I really like this game. I'm amazed by people who complain that it's not like real tennis because... umm... IT'S NOT REALLY TENNIS!!!! It's just your TV and some plastic thing-a-ma-jigs. Deal with it.
I played tennis for years, and will never expect a video game to feel like the real game, but this is more fun than anything I ever played on a Playstation console. My only advice is to start the game in EASY mode and build your player's abilities before moving up. I started on MEDIUM and could barely win a point. Once I switched to EASY, won some matches and added some player abilities, I could change the difficulty.
This game is not perfect. For instance, sometimes the view pans to a point where you can barely tell where you are with relation to the ball and makes the shot almost impossible to line up. Also, the serve is a pointless shot.
I agree with most of the complaints people have made, but it still has to be considered the funnest tennis game ever.Get more detail about EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis.
A Boy and His Blob

We got this game on a whim. It turned out to be more enjoyable than we expected. We often find that even though only one player is operating the controls, it helps to have others watching to help figure out where to go and what to do. We are having a good time with this one!Get more detail about A Boy and His Blob.
Xbox 360 Controller Review

I purchased this to try out on Batman: Arkum Asylum. It works great and adds the rumble feature to the game. This makes for a great experience in this particular game. You get PC graphics and physx effects and the controller with rumble for a game that seems designed for a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Controller.

Touchmaster Top Quality

although other people gave this game almost 5 stars, I found this very boring. You just play each game over and over again. There's no levels to the games and i found no real chalenge. If you do buy this, make sure you keep the receipt so you can exchange it for something that works the mind more. I wouldn't give this game more than 1 star. Get more detail about Touchmaster.

Virtua Tennis 2009 Immediately

I'm a middle aged guy who doesn't play video games, so I didn't want to bash this game with a 2 stars rating because it's possible I'm just a video-game rookie. I bought the Wii for my son, and the Virtua tennis for me. The game was too tough for me to play. I played the Sports and the Sports Resorts and quickly became pro on many of the games. But Virtua tennis was too hard for me. For starters, you have to move around the court with the nunchuck joystick (left hand) while swinging with your right hand. The moving around was very difficult for me. It is difficult to judge where the ball will land, and you have to put your player there FAST because the guy on the other side is hitting the ball HARD!! If you make any wrong move at all, it's too late to adjust! I played the VERY EASY setting and didn't understand why they didn't include a mode where the computer moves my character for me, and I just swing, just like the Sports and the Sports Resort. Maybe if I can just get started and like this game, I might keep playing it. But I lost 3 sets on the EASY setting and scored 0 points! In the VERY EASY setting, I managed to score a point. Why don't they put some non-pro players that I can play against just to get more familiar with the controls??? I went through the training and also played the aliens game to get practice for the movement, spent maybe 2-3 hours but just could not get a handle on this game. TOO HARD. Glad I paid only $15 for this game on Black Friday shopping spree. Get more detail about Virtua Tennis 2009.

Left 4 Dead - Game of the Year Edition Get it now!

This game is great in capturing the feel and copying the zombies from the many recent popular zombie movies.
If you've always wanted to be in one of those movies, this is the closest you'll get short of a real zombie apocalypse.
The controls are easy to use as it is the heart of any game.
Graphics are about standard for a xbox 360 game.
I agree with the many pros stated in the other reviews so I won't list them.
I do want to point out that this game like many games has a trend of using 'cheap' tactics to trip up the player. There are some parts that set you up so you will always fall for it the first time regardless how good a player you are.
Why? Does skill really mean nothing anymore? The 'million' zombies popping out of nowhere from a room is also a head scratcher. You get a mounted gatling type machine gun to use in some areas but it only turns a limited range and it just happens the zombies all attack from a side outside of its view. Why?
I may be nitpicking too much but otherwise this game could have been a real 5 star game but it is only 3.Get more detail about Left 4 Dead - Game of the Year Edition.
