They have improved two of the biggest issues with '09: no pass coverage and no kick coverage. There is noticeably better coverage with each. The sliders have more effect now also, so you can manipulate the settings to create a relatively realistic experience. Recruiting is still too tedious...wish they kept it simple like 2007.
