The first game was great! My daughter played it constantly (to be honest, so did I). By when my son lost it, she opted to try this one instead of replacing the old one. Well, at 6, she was able to beat in with the first day of owning it. While she likes it, I think she likes the ability to "tink", which she loved in the first. But, you cannot make outfits or jewelry like you could in the first one. Because it was such as bust, I am going to buy the first one for her again.
