I have been reading the series since the beginning. I just bought book 1 so I could get my new boyfriend as addicted as I am. Of course, I couldn't help but re-read it before giving it to him because the beginning of the series is the best! They're making a TV show, so buy now and you can be that guy who knew about it before everyone else AND you can constantly complain about the show not living up to the quality of the comic.
